Kent & Stowe Rose Cut and Hold Secateurs constructed with high quality SK5 carbon steel heat treated blades. These unique secateurs have a cut and hold system that allows the cut stem to remain in place until you open the blades to dispose of the stem. Its also features a sap groove and wire cutting notch as well as a dual position catch allowing you to adjust the span of the handles, making it comfortable in use for both  smaller and larger hands.

  • Sap groove to direct sap away from the blade and prevent them from sticking
  • Rubber cushioned shock absorbers provide smooth working and soft closing
  • Drop forged aluminium lightweight handles with non-slip comfort grip
  • To keep these blades in good condition wipe with an oiled cloth after each use and sharpen when necessary

  • Use a pair of bypass action secateurs to cut rose stems rather than an anvil style, as this will blunt the blades and will not give a clean cut
  • Bypass action: These secateurs have 2 sharpened blades that pass over each other to make a clean and precise healthy cut, like a pair of scissors
  • To ensure thorns do not prick your finger; when cutting stems with the unique cut and hold system, the blades will hold the cut stem in place. Open the blades to release the stem
  • Ideal for cutting thorny stems and any plants that could cause skin irritation
  • For pruning of roses, shrubs and brambles
