NEW EXPORT MANAGER FOR GARDMAN
Gardman has announced the appointment of Diane Pawlett as export manager responsible for sales across Europe, with the main focus on Belgium, Holland, Germany and France, both direct to retailers and via selected distributors.
Diane’s first success has seen Gardman becoming a major supplier to 55-store garden centre, Truffaut, in France. The company is now supplying wild bird care ranges to Truffaut and has designed the category layout for the retailer. “There is a tremendous opportunity for us to grow the Gardman business across Europe,” says Diane, “and this new relationship is indicative of the potential.”
Diane’s previous experience has been in the food and drink industry – she has worked at Sara Lee and Typhoo Tea – and also in the pet care industry where Diane was most recently Head of International Sales at pet care manufacturer and supplier, the Bramton Company.
Phil Tushingham, Director at Gardman, says, “This is an important role for us and we’re confident that Diane will fulfil our expectations in these markets.”
