Having the right standards in our operations
We recognise that we must take actions in greening our operations at office level including recycling, reducing paper use and also reducing road miles in our distribution operations in conjunction with our distributor. As a result of opening new warehouse space in 2010 just minutes away from our main warehouse operations in Kings Lynn and closing warehouse space in Ely, we were able to save on road miles as well as costs.
Actions and targets
- By the end of 2012 we will collect basic data on energy consumption and have a reduction target.
- We aim to donate items that would be valued by local charities and schools that otherwise might be discarded.
