Charitable donations
Gardman supports a number of important charitable causes where the company strategy is more to assist local & regional based organisations than national bodies.
Amongst the charities Gardman supports are:

SportActs is our most important charity whose mission is to enhance people's well-being, by Assisting Communities through Sport.
In terms of beneficiaries, SportActs actively looks to support all aspects of the community including organizations such as:
- Childline
- CP Sport
- When you wish upon a Star
- National Kidney Research Fund
- Alder Hey Hospital
- Numerous local concerns
Gardman assists this Nottingham based charity financially and Gardman staff give their time to the organisation. Notably Gardman's Managing Director Andy Bestwick is a Vice President of SportActs.
Andy has a longstanding love of animals & wildlife and personally supports his chosen charities in addition to Gardman activity.

Gardman has so far committed £60,000 to UFAW and its vital research programme into wild bird care welfare. This is in addition to other charitable donations to wild bird research and welfare that Gardman makes via the BTO and BSA.

Gardman is also a corporate member of the local Norfolk & Lincolnshire Wildlife Trusts and will be supporting both organizations in 2007.

Gardman also supports local charities such as Links with Belarus helping the victims of Chernobyl and The Children's Adventure Farm Trust who both do invaluable work for sick and disadvantaged children.

Gardman will also be supporting in 2007 the Wash Estuary Eagle Eyes nature project in Lincolnshire & Hungarian partner schools.

The Eagle Eyes logo was designed by young people from the Lincolnshire fens and Hungary at their August 2006 Summer School.
The company 2006 Christmas staff raffle fund is being augmented by a donation from Gardman and £3000 shared between three worthy causes chosen by our employees:
- Tapping House Hospice King's Lynn
- Butterfly Hospice Boston
- Jaygee Dog Sanctuary Algakirk
